Cruise Ships

Cruise line firearm policies, port-of-call laws, and what you need to know before boarding a cruise with a firearm.

Firearms Are Prohibited on Virtually All Cruise Ships

Every major cruise line prohibits firearms and ammunition on their vessels. This applies to all passengers regardless of carry permits, law enforcement status (off-duty), or any other factor. There are essentially no exceptions for civilian passengers.

Attempting to board a cruise ship with a firearm will result in denial of boarding, confiscation of the firearm, and potential law enforcement involvement. Do not attempt to bring a firearm aboard a cruise ship.
